Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Take and develop dental x-rays - Prepare and maintain patient records, including medical coding and documentation - Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow
Experience:
- Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred - Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments - Familiarity with medical records management systems (e.
g.
