Summary:
The Maintenance Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in the success of the Maintenance department.
Daily duties will include managing CMMS, parts ordering and inventory, and chemical inventory.
Examples of Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
CMMS Performs a daily review of all spare parts consumed and adjusts CMMS inventory as needed.
Creates and routes approved purchase requests to replenish low inventory levels CMMS Works with the Maintenance Manager and Supervisor to enter all on hand spare parts data into the CMMS system CMMS Perform weekly and monthly cycle counts of spare parts CMMS Works with the Maintenance Supervisor to enter post PM data into CMMS, update PM checklists, and replenish parts consumed during PM's CMMS Maintains record of the building and plant keys inventory PARTS ORDERING Obtains quotes and any pertinent details needed to create and route approved maintenance related purchase requests to purchasing / accounts-payable PARTS ORDERING Tracks the progress of orders, updates the Maintenance Manager or Supervisor about any delays, and receives parts as they arrive.
Adjusts the CMMS inventory accordingly and submits documentation to accounts payable CHEMICALS Maintains an accurate on-hand inventory of all maintenance related chemicals, conducting quarterly cycle counts CHEMICALS Maintains approved chemical SDS and TDS documentation Performs other duties as requested by the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager Desired Skills and
Experience:
Read, write, speak, and comprehend English Excellent working knowledge of basic math, including metric weights and measures Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally at all levels within the organization Ability to act as a coach and motivator, and demonstrate a positive influence on team members Requires ability to formulate, give, take, and follow directions, demonstrated time management skills as well as organizational development and improvement skills Computer proficiency and an understanding of their relationship to modern manufacturing Excellent working knowledge of processing machinery Ability to give positive suggestions to improve operations in the work center Ability to work well under changing demands Must have good work ethics, be highly motivated, and be a hands-on problem solver Ability to detect, recognize, and judge discrepancies Requires accuracy, reliability, and attention to quality Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and inventory control Physical Demands:
Vision, hearing, and speaking to meet performance standard Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods, push, pull, lift, climb, bend, stoop, squat, and use manual dexterity to work with hand tools, machines, etc.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis and move heavier weights using proper equipment Work Environment:
Requires ability to work in an environment that may contain non-toxic fumes, dust, odors, moderate level noise, and temperature and ventilation variations while wearing any appropriate safety and/or protective clean room apparel (i.
