Quality Control Technician
The Quality Control Technician provides support to the Quality Department through collecting and analyzing samples, and performing and documenting facility checks. The Quality Manager/ Quality Lab Manager and/or QC Tech II assumes responsibilities in the absence of the QC Tech.CORE FUNCTIONS:
o The QC Technician is responsible for collecting product samples, sending samples out for testing or to customers, and performing in house analysis o Maintaining and organizing samples and incoming material paperwork o Perform sanitation inspections on equipment o Perform calibration checks on equipment o Communicate with other departments on quality related concerns o Practice and adhere to the established standard operating procedures and policies o Adhere to regulations on food safety, food quality, and good manufacturing practices o Perform specification checks on in process and incoming materials, and record data o Product development o Perform environmental monitoring swabbing o Ability to inspect and perform documentation on returned product o Identify and report food safety and quality issues (non conformances/out of specification product) o Work with management to maintain food safety and food quality, and communicate any related concerns o Complete paperwork and sampling in a timely manner o Perform documentation and filing as required o Ensure required documentation is filled out clearly and accurately, following good documentation practices o Review test results and assist with generating certificate of analysis on released batches o Assist with recording and tracking test result data o Maintain a clean and organized work area o Dress out in company-supplied PPE as required in designated areas o Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
o Experience working in a food manufacturing facility or experience in quality preferred o Perform basic math functions:
add, subtract, multiply, divide, percentages, fractions o Computer literate using Microsoft Office:

n Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
