Summary:
We are seeking a talented and creative Floral Designer to join our team.
As a Floral Designer, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions.
Your attention to detail and artistic skills will contribute to providing exceptional customer experiences.
Duties:
- Design and create floral arrangements for weddings, events, and everyday occasions - Select and purchase fresh flowers and plants from suppliers - Arrange flowers in vases, baskets, or other containers - Ensure proper care and maintenance of flowers and plants - Assist customers in selecting the perfect floral arrangements for their needs - Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering suggestions - Process cash register transactions accurately and efficiently - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the floral department
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Floral Designer or in a similar role is preferred - Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and foliage - Proficiency in floral design techniques such as wiring, taping, and arranging - Strong artistic ability with an eye for color, texture, and composition - Excellent communication skills to understand customer preferences and provide recommendations - Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register is a plus - Retail sales or customer service experience is desirable We are looking for someone who is passionate about floral design, has a positive attitude, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
