The Electrical Engineer will provide direction and assistance to work group in order to meet assigned objectives. In this role, you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
Essential Responsibilities In addition, you will:
Execute, with guidance from senior engineering resources, the analysis, design, test, or integration required to define and support assigned components, assemblies or systems that meet business standards and program / product requirements
Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers
Document and communicate results of technical data generated
Participate on teams assigned to address specific organizational initiatives
Share engineering information and promote open dialogue
Prepare invention disclosures to protect the technology that provides a competitive advantage to the business
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.

Master''s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Familiarity with design, test and analysis tools and systems
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
PC proficiency
Demonstrated knowledge with electromagnetic compliant design techniques
Minimum of 10 weeks of internship experience in electrical design
3.3 GPA or higher
Working knowledge of hazardous area certifications
Demonstrated skill in Orcad, PCAD, and/or Altium printed circuit board layout tools
Demonstrated ability to continue complicated jobs to completion in a timely manner
Demonstrated ability to identify and drive process improvements
Demonstrated skills in problem solving
Fast learner with energy and enthusiasm
Knowledge of and experience with the Bently Nevada product line
Basic knowledge of mechanical design and manufacturing concepts
Demonstrated knowledge of digital and analog circuitry

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
