Division Business Manager
Established contract services firm seeking highly motivated full charge accountant/bookkeeper. Must have well rounded computer skills, and willing to take on challenging accounting position.
Individual will work for company accounting staff, responsible for management of individual defense contract(s), and perform the following:
o Accounts payable,
o Payroll & Payroll Taxes using Quickbooks and online filing,
o Prepare and submit federal and state payroll tax forms online,
o Prepare and submit monthly government vouchers online,
o Timely Billing and Payment of Accounts receivables,
o Reconcile credit card accounts and other balance sheet accounts,
o Comprehensive and timely month and year end close,
o Analyze, track, secure, and report monthly and yearly cash flow,
o Prepare monthly quarterly and yearly budget tracking reports,
o Reconcile annual provisional rates with actual budget performance
o Prepare annual Profit & Loss statement,
o Prepare annual Balance Sheet statements,
o Prepare and submit federal and state income tax forms,
o Maintain vendor accounting relationships, and
o Provide monthly progress reports
Successful individual must:
o Maintain and handle all books through the adjusted trial balance,
o Analyze and correct cumulative balances and current-period errors,
o Be detail oriented, highly organized
o Capable of working independently and within a team of accountant personnel,
o Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
o Have excellent verbal and written communications skills
o Maintain balanced and harmonious office relationships
o Maintain confidential records,
o Perform sustained and detailed Quickbooks and Excel processes, and
o Maintain government contract(s) records and reporting.
Experience Requirements:
o Quickbooks Enterprise
o Excel spreadsheet design using such formulas as vlookup and pivot tables
