Customer Service Management Specialist

Essential Responsibilities:
In the role of Customer Service Management Specialist, you will:
  • Diagnose machinery problems based upon: vibration data, operational data, and customer communications
  • Provide strong focus on delivering value to our customers
  • Be knowledgable and experience diagnosing machinery related problems using advanced System 1 capabilities, including Bently Performance
  • Provide excellent written and oral communication skills to convey technical concepts to business and technical personnel
  • Create, review and interpret technical reports
  • Professionally communicate with customer and other team members
  • Provide leadership, technical direction, and assistance to the customer, user, and other BHGE service personnel in the trouble-shooting and long-term maintenance of Bently Nevada equipment and customers rotating machinery
  • Be able to foresee a customer s need for information or work practice to achieve higher plant reliability
  • Track, report, and forecast financials on individual projects on a regular basis
  • Assess job site Safety and perform services as per BHGE Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Policies
  • Drive customer satisfaction through commitment to quality and execution of work scope
  • Drive and Support the growth initiatives of the business
  • React to customer required travel in a timely manner, while bringing all required service equipment in case of field job
  • Enjoy presenting technical subjects to varied audiences from customers, external/internal technical experts and leadership personnel
  • Desire to learn and teach
  • Bachelor s Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering)

    Eligibility Requirements:

  • Travel up to 20% of the time to work at customers sites
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Possess or ability to obtain a passport
  • Ability to obtain TWIC Card
    Desired Characteristics:
  • Machinery Knowledge (Steam Turbine, Compressors, Gas Turbine, Pumps, Motors, Fans, Hydro Turbine, Wind Turbine)
  • Knowledge or experience with AT LEAST one or more of the following: mechanical vibration, rotating machinery vibration and/or diagnostics, rotordynamic analysis, machinery balancing and alignment
  • Knowledge of rotating machinery operation and controls systems4
  • Knowledge of machinery protection and management systems
  • Industry Process knowledge (Power Generation, Oil Refinery, LNG, Fertilizer, Ethylene, )
  • Knowledge of Predictive Maintenance (PdM) technologies such as: oil analysis, thermography, online/off-line motor testing, and/or ultrasonics
  • ISO Cat 2 Vibration Analyst certified
  • Mechanical & Electrical trouble shooting skills; "Hands-on approach"
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision requirement; able to work independently; ability to prioritize, organize work, and meet deadlines
  • Experience reading, interpreting, and understanding mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Experience with Networking devices and protocols
  • Knowledge of Bently Nevada products and services
  • Demonstrate authority and assurance dealing with people.
  • Ability to set/meet aggressive targets and work under stressful working conditions.
  • Strong computer skills using MS Office software.
  • Experience working under stressful working conditions
  • Project Management Skills
  • Black Belt or Green Belt Certified (GE employees only)
  • Professional Engineer (P. E.) licensure

  • Don't Be Fooled

    The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
