Service Manager

Role Summary: The Service Manager leads the North America West Region Area services team for the Bently Nevada product line, and develops practical and innovative ways to meet business objectives. In this role, you are the leader of Service Team Leaders in several locations in North America. You will be required to utilize operations experience to execute business objectives and attain short term and some long-term business goals. Essential Responsibilities: In the role of Service Manager, you will: Participate in development and lead the execution of the DS Services growth strategy for the Bently Nevada product line as it relates to Field Service in North America Work closely with the Bently Nevada North America Region Commercial team and other regional and functional leaders to ensure appropriate resource coverage and capability as well as identify opportunities to achieve the services orders plan for assigned region / markets Provide the operational leadership needed to drive profitable service growth Overall business management duties for assigned Operation Leads and field service engineers Provide accurate and timely information to assigned personnel regarding salary planning, performance appraisals, career coaching and disciplinary action as required Lead efforts to ensure Customer Service excellence for assigned customers Implement Operation Safety Policy instructions and conduct work in compliance with all applicable EHS regulations and employee safety practices Ensure operational excellence in the areas of integrity, controllership and compliance Be active in community service leadership Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university Minimum 5 years of experience in a field services, production (manufacturing), Supply Chain, or related operational role Eligibility Requirements: Travel on short notice up to 40% of the time, as required Desired Characteristics: Bachelors' Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university Master's Degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited college or university Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a focus on change acceleration and process improvement Demonstrated ability to manage effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Strong verbal, written communications, analytical, and problem solving skills Strong customer service mindset Bently, Nevada expertise Green Belt, Black Belt, or Master Black Belt certification, or equivalent Quality certification Strong business acumen About Us: Baker Hughes, a GE company (NYSE:BHGE) is the world's first and only fullstream provider of integrated oilfield products, services and digital solutions. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
